A while ago, my wife and I watched through "Abstract: The Art of Design" as part of our nightly Netflix and Chill regiment. One specific episode has truly changed the way I look at photography as an art... as a way of life.
Platon, a portrait photographer (totally doesn't begin to describe what he is) has a few philosophies on engaging with the people you're photographing, that I have been working extensively to integrate into my work. Here are some images of my newest friend and inspiration, Kiefer, from an impromptu studio session today, inspired by Platon's photography.
Photographs were made with the Canon 5D Mk iii, Sigma 24mm f1.4, and VSCOs Ilford Pan F Plus 50.
